Significance of penitentiary services staff in implementation of TB Control activities in colonies

Accordingly to the approved Training Plan of the current year, the Main Medical Department of the Ministry of Justice delivered a number of Trainings on the topic of “Significance of penitentiary services staff in implementation of TB Control activities in colonies”. First two trainings, scheduled for November 22 and 23, were arranged in peripheric pre-trial and colony for PS staff, while the last one was managed in WHO Collaborative Centre on prevention and control of tuberculosis in prisons and covered heads of colonies. The Sessions aimed to emphasizing the importance of administrative staff in efficient implementation of TB Program over Penitentiary Facilities and ensure strengthening of their activities in this field.
