Regional meetings in Ganja and Shaki on the review of the TGF’s TB and HIV Project, carried out in penitentiary facilities of Azerbaijan.

The next regular meetings on the review of the Global Fund’s TB and HIV Project activities, implemented in the Penitentiary Facilities of Azerbaijan, were held in the regions. Within the events held on December 9 and 10, covering 30 medical and penitentiary services staff of the Sheki Penitentiary Institution and Pre-trial no. 2 based in Ganja, were discussed the measures aimed to TB and HIV detection in prison settings, as well as current activities associated with these pathologies’ issues.
