A representative of the MoJ STI laboratory attended a three-day course on "Training of advanced users" and "Technical maintenance of the GeneXpert system" that was organized by "Cepheid" Company from July 25 to 27, 2023, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with financial assistance from the Global Fund Project.
The Training covered participants from Azerbaijan, Moldova, Belarus, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. Along with theoretical data, the training program included practical lessons on the use of the most recent software version, instructions for using GeneXpert testing equipment, analyses of test findings, execution of the calibration process, changing modules, etc.
