WHO Collaborative Centre on prevention and control of Tuberculosis in prisons announces the 3rd International Training Course on “Strengthening TB Control in prisons of M/XDR-TB high-burden countries” for Policy makers and Health Care providers in Penal institutions, that will be organized on 5-9 June 2017 in Baku, Azerbaijan. The Training Course will represent a mixture of lectures performed by experienced WHO CC trainers, international TB consultants, ICRC and WHO, Partners in Health (USA) and Center of Excellence for TB Infection Control (Russia) staff based on the most recent, evidence-based, internationally-recognized policies and guidelines and field visits to prisons recognized as Centre of Excellence for TB Control in Penal Institutions. The similar courses were performed in 2015 and 2016.
The training languages are English and Russian. The course fee includes all expenditures related with participation including: pick-up and transfer from airport, accommodation, meals and coffee breaks, local transportation, course materials, dinner and touristic journey to Baku.
